Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Rudkvist in the 7th minute of play. Beat Abendano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Winthont FC defense, Håkan Rudkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. The Winthont FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Beerthuis should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Orkatz Abeitia in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Winthont FC's Werner Hoving. Orkatz Abeitia made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Håkan Rudkvist. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Werner Hoving managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winthont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Werner Hoving was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Giorgio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Iztal in the 29th minute of play. Alex de Rudder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Giorgio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex de Rudder, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Pascall Kolman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when Bayern Boliviano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orkatz Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Giorgio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex de Rudder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Iztal in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Cooper Schurter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Giorgio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex de Rudder went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacobus Lubbers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cooper Schurter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Beerthuis having to interfere. When Werner Hoving came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Winthont FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Werner Hoving couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bayern Boliviano getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cooper Schurter hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobus Lubbers during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobus Lubbers to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bayern Boliviano's Cooper Schurter fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Bayern Boliviano's Balasi Abechuco was substituted for Anton Erkmann. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex de Rudder in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Giorgio saved Bayern Boliviano from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Alex de Rudder put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Antonio Giorgio. In the 77th match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Hoving to maneuver through the defense. Bayern Boliviano's Álvaro Peña was substituted for Cooper Schurter. In the 79th minute, Werner Hoving hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marnix Mastebroek during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Rudkvist in the 91st minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Abendano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Winthont FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Winthont FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
