Spectators: 193 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Alexandros Petridis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Winthont FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Max Landzaat in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Jorn de Zwaan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winthont FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC NATIONAL the free kick. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jorn de Zwaan hit a great ball. Alex de Rudder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandros Petridis had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alex de Rudder from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Jacobus Lubbers took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alexandros Petridis to make any attempt to save it. Winthont FC's Alex de Rudder got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC NATIONAL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Alex de Rudder scored to the left of an out of position Alexandros Petridis, making the score, 2-0. In the 36th minute, Ivo Henselmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandros Petridis came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Winthont FC's Alex de Rudder. But to his dismay, Alex de Rudder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 44th minute, Fanis Kaloxylos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winthont FC's Jorn de Zwaan got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Jorn de Zwaan off the ground. Jorn de Zwaan hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Cutberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Winthont FC from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute Jacobus Lubbers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Petridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berend de Visscher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alexandros Petridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobus Lubbers struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Alexandros Petridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC. The supporters of FC NATIONAL booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Henselmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Cutberto in the 66th minute of play. Francileudo Faarø charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francileudo Faarø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC NATIONAL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Dennis Beerthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Winthont FC's attentive Werner Hoving managed to snatch the ball when Kolonos Petrakis made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, FC NATIONAL's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobus Lubbers came free, but Alexandros Petridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandros Petridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobus Lubbers in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC NATIONAL's zone, Jacobus Lubbers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandros Petridis came out of the goal and Jacobus Lubbers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Winthont FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
