Hunor Csapó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Victor Neicu. 15 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Kihlberg came free, but Hunor Csapó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hunor Csapó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Kihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Kent Browall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunor Csapó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Voicu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niclas Andersson saved Stoke FF from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match Marcelinho Motta climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Hunor Csapó. After 39 played minutes Stoke FF got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Ahlbom. Hunor Csapó made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Marcelinho Motta sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Zbora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
