Anibal Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Corbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Abastas came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Abbotsford FC's Yakut Vecihi. But to his dismay, Yakut Vecihi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Denny Commons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, FEOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Commons came free, but Anibal Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denny Commons in the 22nd minute of play forced FEOS FC's goalkeeper Anibal Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Sever Corbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Mao Xu Ang could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Lei Wei Lin however easily saved by the left post. 29 minutes into the match, FEOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Corbu came free, but Anibal Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FEOS FC's Anibal Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yakut Vecihi in the 33rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Yakut Vecihi sped through FEOS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anibal Abastas. After a rather tough play, FEOS FC's Kim Min Jou got a free kick in the 36th minute. FEOS FC's Anibal Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yakut Vecihi in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Raymond Saavedra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FEOS FC's goalkeeper Anibal Abastas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yakut Vecihi in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Abastas saved FEOS FC from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Denny Commons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FEOS FC booed when Abbotsford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Haeberle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Denny Commons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbotsford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denny Commons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Mao Xu Ang made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Elguero might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lei Wei Lin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Elguero ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, FEOS FC's goalkeeper Anibal Abastas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sever Corbu. In the 55th minute, Abbotsford FC's Zhou Zhen Zhen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, FEOS FC's goalkeeper Anibal Abastas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sever Corbu. 62 minutes into the match, FEOS FC's goalkeeper Anibal Abastas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakut Vecihi. Anibal Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhou Zhen Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denny Commons in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anibal Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denny Commons had several of the FEOS FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Anibal Abastas as he didn't even see the shot coming. FEOS FC made a substitution. Daniel Roig replaced Raymond Saavedra. In the 76th minute of the match Abbotsford FC got a corner. FEOS FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pierre Haeberle ran over to the corner to take the kick. Su Xing Jie made a great header on Abbotsford FC's corner, it was just that FEOS FC's Anibal Abastas managed to reach the ball for a save. Stevie Lucas's late challenge caught a FEOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stevie Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FEOS FC booed when Abbotsford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stevie Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denny Commons took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Abastas. Anibal Abastas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 81 minutes into the game, Denny Commons recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anibal Abastas. Denny Commons showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Abbas Ağayarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Abastas having to interfere. Lei Wei Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zef Zoff in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Abbotsford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zef Zoff came free, but Lei Wei Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sever Corbu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Anibal Abastas made a huge save. Haritz Lillo's late challenge caught a Abbotsford FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haritz Lillo helped the player get up and apologised. Abbotsford FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
