Bernhardt Reshauge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Prado in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Virila came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Ignacio Hori ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jarbas Guedes. Jarbas Guedes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 17 minutes into the match, Inácio Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernhardt Reshauge. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inácio Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Bernhardt Reshauge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Figueiredo in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Inácio Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernhardt Reshauge. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inácio Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Cirilo Virila got a free kick in the 27th minute. Bernhardt Reshauge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Hori came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Virila took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarbas Guedes. Jarbas Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Jarbas Guedes was a little too slow when Cirilo Virila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 5-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Virila in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarbas Guedes saved S S Palestra Italia from getting behind. After 40 minutes, Cirilo Virila made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Virila in the 43rd minute of the match. Robinho Castro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Roberto Moura was the one to do the kick off. Inácio Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of S S Palestra Italia booed when Sαηgrε Azuɭ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordario Vivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Virila in the 59th minute of the match. If Jose Paradela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Virila might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarbas Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Virila ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the game, Cirilo Virila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Jarbas Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Roano hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Jonas Ordono got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Conrado Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Rodriguez in the 82nd minute of play. Conrado Rodriguez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarbas Guedes having to make a save. After 89 played minutes S S Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Hermes. If Conrado Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Rodriguez in the 91st minute of the match. Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Conrado Rodriguez scored 8-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarbas Guedes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sαηgrε Azuɭ fully deserved thier win.
