Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Roberto Moura started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Inácio Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jorge Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by S S Palestra Italia's Inácio Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Inácio Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 11th minute, Nestor Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Inácio Figueiredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jorge Figueiredo, 3-0. In the 19th minute, S S Palestra Italia's Inácio Figueiredo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Figueiredo. Jorge Figueiredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 28 minutes into the match, Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Jorge Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Figueiredo. Inácio Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jorge Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S S Palestra Italia. 33 minutes into the match, Candelario Saavedra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarbas Guedes. S S Palestra Italia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candelario Saavedra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jorge Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Figueiredo in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Figueiredo saved Los Tatangelos from getting behind. With a little luck, Los Tatangelos's Jorge Figueiredo got control of the ball when Inácio Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dündar Ülkenur to make the kick off. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dündar Ülkenur in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Inácio Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S S Palestra Italia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Moura in the 57th minute of play. S S Palestra Italia's Zé Roberto Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Los Tatangelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candelario Saavedra to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Zaremba made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Adérito Aleixo immediately put the ball in play. In the 77th minute Zé Roberto Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Los Tatangelos's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Moura came free, but Jorge Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes got control of the ball when Gürbüz Hendekli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Tatangelos's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because S S Palestra Italia had won, even though Los Tatangelos had held more of the ball.
