Gürbüz Hendekli scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilson do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Koralp Özsu in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Los Tatangelos's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Dowdall came free, but Jorge Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gürbüz Hendekli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nilson do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Maurinho Vargas got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dündar Ülkenur in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Candelario Saavedra notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale. Nilson do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Dündar Ülkenur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson do Vale was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Gürbüz Hendekli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adérito Aleixo in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Billy Dowdall reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorge Figueiredo. The goal made the score 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bandelocos's zone, Candelario Saavedra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson do Vale came out of the goal and Candelario Saavedra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 minutes Bandelocos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Koralp Özsu who took care of the corner kick. Los Tatangelos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Koralp Özsu in the 38th minute. When Bandelocos's Valdir Garcia in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Tatangelos's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Dündar Ülkenur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dündar Ülkenur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 46th minute Dündar Ülkenur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dündar Ülkenur in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Los Tatangelos were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdir Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Billy Dowdall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Brasil in the 52nd minute of play. Dündar Ülkenurs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Nilson do Vale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. Dündar Ülkenur in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nilson do Vale, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 68th minute Valdir Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dündar Ülkenur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Nilson do Vale made a huge save. Bandelocos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Dündar Ülkenur scored to the left of an out of position Nilson do Vale, making the score, 1-4. Los Tatangelos's Münir Akyazıcı was substituted for Göktürk Bozlak. Gaffar Gülsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Gustavo Urbano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Gürbüz Hendekli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilson do Vale. Gürbüz Hendekli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaffar Gülsoy in the 80th minute of play. The Bandelocos fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Bandelocos's Valdir Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 85 played minutes Los Tatangelos got a freekick which was hit by Adérito Aleixo. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Los Tatangelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candelario Saavedra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Bertran.
