The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Cirilo Virila came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Sαηgrε Azuɭ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Virila couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Orzaize came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Bernhardt Reshauge got control of the ball when Inácio Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarbas Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cirilo Virila went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 16 minutes, Cirilo Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Virila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernhardt Reshauge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Figueiredo in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Orzaize in the 19th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ur Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Cirilo Virila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarbas Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Orzaize, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Orzaize in the 27th minute of play. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Orzaize in the 28th minute of the match. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Cirilo Virila got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute Adrian Orzaize shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Guedes having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Virila came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Virila to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Cirilo Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarbas Guedes made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Adrian Orzaize sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Adrian Orzaize made a precise shot to the right of Jarbas Guedes. S S Palestra Italia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Hori in the 80th minute of the match. Ignacio Hori had several of the S S Palestra Italia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Jarbas Guedes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Inácio Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Sαηgrε Azuɭ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Hori got free with Jarbas Guedes in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Rodriguez. 93 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Hori came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Alfonso. Jarbas Guedes came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Conrado Rodriguez. But to his dismay, Conrado Rodriguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The S S Palestra Italia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sαηgrε Azuɭ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
