Arkın Taşboğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ferdinand in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Niceto Ferdinand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arkın Taşboğa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Supay Puka Huasi FC's Aristides Gaspard got a free kick in the 19th minute. Arkın Taşboğa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Melgar in the 31st minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Arkın Taşboğa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Milton Melgar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkın Taşboğa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Supay Puka Huasi FC's Milton Melgar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arkın Taşboğa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Cristian Sarmiento fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Supay Puka Huasi FC's protests and gave Cristian Sarmiento a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Supay Puka Huasi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Píriz came free, but Gilmar Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Supay Puka Huasi FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Ferdinand to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Gonzalo Cuenca got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Supay Puka Huasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milton Melgar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkın Taşboğa having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Abusleme to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Milton Melgar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Supay Puka Huasi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Milton Melgar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkın Taşboğa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AFC Richmond's Sandro Cavareda was substituted for Rafael Maria Cousiño. AFC Richmond's Arkın Taşboğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ferdinand in the 89th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Remicio Price notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Supay Puka Huasi FC's Gilmar Coelho. Gilmar Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Supay Puka Huasi FC's Ignacio Furman was substituted for Niceto Ferdinand.
