In the 17th minute of the match, Willy Píriz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valdemar Olsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jens-Erik Odén hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Armin Nestares made the kick off in the second half.
