Armin Nestares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jannes Ruttens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdemar Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Libra defense, Beto Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Olsson. The Libra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Olsson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigge Fürst in the 12th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Libra's Valdemar Olsson got control of the ball when Nicky Bryson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Armin Nestares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libra's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Nestares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannes Ruttens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute of the match, Beto Montenegro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valdemar Olsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sigge Fürst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jannes Ruttens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Armin Nestares notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens. Jannes Ruttens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Badaz Bonk during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Tony Adams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armin Nestares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
