After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Goethe was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Agapito Diaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agapito Diaz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Tom Gerster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Neubauer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 91st playminute. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC Temeswar Banat were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Friesenwerdermoor side.
