In the 33rd minute, Alf Tanner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balavanis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Balavanis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Tanner to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Balavanis's Sorin Bobocea got control of the ball when Feliciano Belmiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Nae Groșan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. ARGIES's Best Castray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save ARGIES from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, ARGIES's Best Castray got control of the ball when Grigore Şoiman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Best Castray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Tanner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the match, Alf Tanner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Best Castray saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot 67 in the game by Grigore Şoiman from a close distance when the talented Best Castray managed to make a qualified save. ARGIES's players were relieved. Balavanis's Gheorghe Basarab was substituted for Ferdinand Costa. ARGIES made a substitution. Lázaro Peio replaced Benjamin Kamin. Lázaro Peio's late challenge caught a Balavanis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Peio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ARGIES's Lázaro Peio got a free kick in the 79th minute.
