Benjamin Blixt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Danielsson came free, but Mieszko Karanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Benjamin Blixt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Georg Danielsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Marzagão's Mieszko Karanowski got control of the ball when Georg Danielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Murillo do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Umberto Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murillo do Valle made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Danielsson in the 53rd minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Mieszko Karanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cezar Martins fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marzagão's protests and gave Cezar Martins a yellow card for diving instead. Mieszko Karanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes KD Stiger got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Sandberg. In the 63rd minute of the match Eliseu Fantini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Blixt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Umberto Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Mieszko Karanowski came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by KD Stiger's Pål Strömberg. But to his dismay, Pål Strömberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in KD Stiger's zone, Umberto Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Blixt came out of the goal and Umberto Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 minutes KD Stiger's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseu Fantini who took care of the corner kick. 77 minutes into the game, one of KD Stiger:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. KD Stiger:s Benjamin Blixt showed great skill when he stopped Murillo do Valle:s penalty. Murillo do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Blixt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by KD Stiger's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseu Fantini was slow to take the kick. During this time Marzagão's players had a chance to rest. Domingos Santiago was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 86 minutes into the match, Marzagão's Domingos Santiago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Blixt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Toledo in the 87th minute of play forced KD Stiger's goalkeeper Benjamin Blixt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Marzagão's Murillo do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Blixt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Murillo do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Blixt. KD Stiger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 93 minutes of play KD Stiger's Björn Engström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Björn Engström hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Antunes came free, but Benjamin Blixt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
