The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Yin Wei Yi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filcho Nanev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as SvE United's Zlatan Denishev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benedicto Ireno. That made the score 1-1 after 9 minutes of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind SvE United's goalkeeper Filcho Nanev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Jonny Kleen made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Ireno. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 21stth minute of the game Yin Wei Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SvE United's Filcho Nanev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Filcho Nanev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yin Wei Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Yin Wei Yi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filcho Nanev was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Filcho Nanev came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Yin Wei Yi. But to his dismay, Yin Wei Yi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Benedicto Ireno made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Jonny Kleen sent off a good shot on target. Yin Wei Yi scored 2-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filcho Nanev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th match minute, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Innocenzio to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, SvE United's goal looked a bit too open when Yin Wei Yi came free, but Filcho Nanev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yin Wei Yi made a kick off. Benedicto Ireno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Kleen in the 53rd minute of the match. After 59 minutes SvE United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Montes who took care of the corner kick. After 62 minutes of play, SvE United's Zlatan Denishev made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedicto Ireno was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 68 in the game by Márk Stephen from a close distance when the talented Filcho Nanev managed to make a qualified save. SvE United's players were relieved. Filcho Nanev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Márk Stephen in the 70th minute. If Márk Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, SvE United's goalkeeper Filcho Nanev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márk Stephen. 74 minutes into the game, Márk Stephen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Filcho Nanev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Cecilio Eli came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Eli couldn't finish the play. Márk Stephen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filcho Nanev came out and tried to block the shot, but Márk Stephen slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Jonny Kleen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Ireno was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márk Stephen got free with Filcho Nanev in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, SvE United's Jonny Kleen tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
