In the 3rd minute, one of A.D.ESMOJÃES:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.D.ESMOJÃES. Yu Jing Ran kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's Joaquim Paredes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laureano Rijo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Machados FC V2's Laureano Rijo threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joaquim Paredes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 19th minute, Joaquim Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Garcia in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Póvoas in the 23rd minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Machados FC V2's Joaquim Paredes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Joaquim Paredes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Rijo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus Baldaia in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes, Gai Vazquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.D.ESMOJÃES and the Machados FC V2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gai Vazquez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Paredes in the 36th minute of play forced A.D.ESMOJÃES's goalkeeper Laureano Rijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Bulhosa in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassiano Brochado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Matthias Tham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Joaquim Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Rijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Remzi Bozlak. Machados FC V2's Enzo Soveral was substituted for Enzo Quintas. A collision led to Machados FC V2 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Remzi Bozlak hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Machados FC V2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Piesciuk to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Garcia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodrigo Lima firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Bulhosa in the 67th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Paredes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Rijo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Rodrigo Lima made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Mateus Baldaia sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Lima was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Garcia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 82 minute of play. In the 87th minute Cassiano Brochado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Lima made a huge save. Rodrigo Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Garcia in the 92nd minute. Machados FC V2's Grzegorz Piesciuk got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of A.D.ESMOJÃES's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. A.D.ESMOJÃES may have spent more time on the ball, but Machados FC V2 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
