Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macit Sağıt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the PERSPOLIS defense, Macit Sağıt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gianluigi Donnarumma. The PERSPOLIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gianluigi Donnarumma should have stopped the shot. After 19 played minutes Suprs Academia got a freekick which was hit by Roderick Potvin. In the 25th minute Bela Herrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Statham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th play minute Bela Herrero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jason Statham. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Queiroz in the 27th minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jason Statham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bela Herrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Raitin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Myles Powderham from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Jason Statham's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. PERSPOLIS's Gianluigi Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Yuan Chao in the 37th minute of play. Suprs Academia's Jason Statham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Suprs Academia from getting a goal against them. After 41 minutes PERSPOLIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wiliam Queiroz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Suprs Academia's corner Wiliam Queiroz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gianluigi Donnarumma quite easily take care of the ball. In the 44th minute, PERSPOLIS's Cipriano Ganix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jason Statham. Jason Statham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 50th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Ganix to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Macit Sağıt got free with Gianluigi Donnarumma in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myles Powderham to maneuver through the defense. Suprs Academia's Jason Statham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Ganix in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Suprs Academia got a corner. PERSPOLIS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wiliam Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Suprs Academia made a substitution. Johnny Gustavsson replaced Amílcar Leiria. The supporters of Suprs Academia booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Feria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Facundo Feria's late challenge caught a Suprs Academia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Facundo Feria helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Feria. Gianluigi Donnarumma came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Suprs Academia's Macit Sağıt. But to his dismay, Macit Sağıt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Macit Sağıt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gianluigi Donnarumma. That made the score 2-5 in the 83 minute of play. Wiliam Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gianluigi Donnarumma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. Gianluigi Donnarumma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Macit Sağıt's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. PERSPOLIS's Gianluigi Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bai Shi Ao in the 92nd minute of play. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Charlie Hultin sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Uplegger to maneuver through the defense.
