Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saúl Gentiletti started the match with the kick off. Marian Dropinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Vilmantas Matulas made a huge save. Vilmantas Matulas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Dropinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes MKS Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Hao Di Cheng. Santos Dumont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Vilmantas Matulas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marian Dropinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilmantas Matulas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marian Dropinski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Sylwester Lampa made a precise shot to the right of Vilmantas Matulas. FC Žalia Giria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Santos Dumont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vilmantas Matulas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilmantas Matulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Frankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to FC Žalia Giria getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dovydas Varnas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Gentiletti in the 28th minute of play forced MKS Bełchatów's goalkeeper Radomil Weyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Santos Dumont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saúl Gentiletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Radomil Weyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saúl Gentiletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Dumont struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Vilmantas Matulas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Bełchatów. FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santos Dumont 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The supporters of MKS Bełchatów booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hikmet Lebib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilmantas Matulas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Dumont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Dropinski to make the kick off. Augustinas Baltramaitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hikmet Lebib charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hikmet Lebib the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, FC Žalia Giria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hikmet Lebib to maneuver through the defense. Santos Dumont's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilmantas Matulas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Marian Dropinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saúl Gentiletti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Weyna having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Dropinski came free, but Vilmantas Matulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilmantas Matulas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Dumont in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Dropinski in the 74th minute of play forced FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, MKS Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Saúl Gentiletti came free, but Radomil Weyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Maksymilian Michalski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hao Di Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Avram Lupoaia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radomil Weyna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Vytautas Petkus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the FC Žalia Giria defense, Santos Dumont kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilmantas Matulas. The FC Žalia Giria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilmantas Matulas should have stopped the shot.
