FC Žalia Giria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Dumont came free, but Vilmantas Matulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Santos Dumont left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MKS Bełchatów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hao Di Cheng hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Despite this Vilmantas Matulas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Lampa in the 58th minute of play forced FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, MKS Bełchatów's Vilmantas Matulas threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aureliusz Frankowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vilmantas Matulas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Frankowski in the 60th minute of the match. Jack Grealish charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 80 minutes, Hikmet Lebib mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Žalia Giria and the MKS Bełchatów players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MKS Bełchatów booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hikmet Lebib didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Marian Dropinski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 82nd minute, Santos Dumont got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vilmantas Matulas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Dropinski's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Vilmantas Matulas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Lampa in the 86th minute of play. Radomil Weyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Grealish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustinas Baltramaitis kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Radomil Weyna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Grealish in the 93rd minute of play. Vilmantas Matulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Dumont, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. MKS Bełchatów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Boguslaw Mierzwa in the 96th minute. After taking down the ball on MKS Bełchatów's corner Boguslaw Mierzwa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vilmantas Matulas quite easily take care of the ball.
