Laniakea's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Uetendorf Wanderers's Özcan Balcik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Adjani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. David Aberle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Sandbakken in the 17th minute. The supporters of Uetendorf Wanderers booed when Laniakea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjur Voll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Rutsch in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Adjani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Adjani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Rutsch in the 23rd minute of the match. Giorgos Papaiakovou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Adjani having to interfere. Ali Adjani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özcan Balcik in the 27th minute of play. Hans-Erik Osland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. David Aberle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Glenn Huez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özcan Balcik struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ali Adjani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uetendorf Wanderers. Martin Rutsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ali Adjani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sjur Voll came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Laniakea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sjur Voll couldn't finish the play. Didrik Begum hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Glenn Huez made the kick off in the second half. Ali Adjani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Huez in the 50th minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Özcan Balcik notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Laniakea's Ali Adjani. Ali Adjani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giorgos Papaiakovous short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Ali Adjani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. David Aberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Sandbakken in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Uetendorf Wanderers defense, Adam Sandbakken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Aberle. The Uetendorf Wanderers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Aberle should have stopped the shot. Uetendorf Wanderers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Rutsch in the 62nd minute. The corner led Uetendorf Wanderers's Martin Rutsch to fire away a dangerous shot which Ali Adjani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 65 minutes Laniakea's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Rutsch who took care of the corner kick. 68 minutes into the game, Martin Rutsch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ali Adjani. Martin Rutsch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Glenn Huez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Ali Adjani skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Martin Rutsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Erik Osland came free, but David Aberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Sandbakken in the 78th minute of play forced Uetendorf Wanderers's goalkeeper David Aberle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laniakea's Ali Adjani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Laniakea from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute Adam Sandbakken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Aberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hans-Erik Osland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jo Skinstad hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
