In the 44th minute Wilfredo Henríguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Örjan Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Radek Mervart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Lundberg in the 69th minute of play. Mike Cassar Torreggiani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tonni Bynge in the 70th minute. Zhuang Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani made a huge save. Mike Cassar Torreggiani had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zhuang Zhen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the referee ended the match the Blåvitt players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
