FC TSKALSADENI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Anzor Levidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Augusto Souza made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC TSKALSADENI's Takha Abesadze. In the 31st minute, Maicon Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Arsen Sulaberidze. FC TSKALSADENI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Maicon Palmeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arsen Sulaberidze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsen Sulaberidze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maicon Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Maicon Palmeira notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC TSKALSADENI's Arsen Sulaberidze. Arsen Sulaberidze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half E. C. Uruguaiana were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Palmeira in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsen Sulaberidze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, Clemente Eger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arsen Sulaberidze, 0-5. Tsotne Kobiashvili kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. E. C. Uruguaiana's Nando Lopez was substituted for Valdemar da Cunha.
