In the 14th minute Maicon Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Palmeira in the 17th minute of play forced Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Delmar Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maicon Palmeira came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the E. C. Uruguaiana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maicon Palmeira couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Delmar Ignado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maicon Palmeira. The supporters of Kanalla F.C booed when E. C. Uruguaiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Maicon Palmeira sped through Kanalla F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delmar Ignado. If Maicon Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. E. C. Uruguaiana made a substitution. Nando Lopez replaced Valdemar da Cunha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Palmeira in the 53rd minute of play forced Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Delmar Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, E. C. Uruguaiana's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Rashford came free, but Vicente Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Bin Kuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ercüment Tanju kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Guimarães. That made the score 2-1 in the 72 minute of play. With a little luck, E. C. Uruguaiana's Vicente Guimarães got control of the ball when Ercüment Tanju tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geovani Mendonça took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Ignado. Delmar Ignado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 90 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Mendonça came free, but Delmar Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in E. C. Uruguaiana fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Vicente Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercüment Tanju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. E. C. Uruguaiana had played much better football throughout.
