The audience was convinced that Magno Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rômulo de Barros was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Magno Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Philotimo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 10 minutes of play, FC Philotimo's Magno Aparecido made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rômulo de Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the US DI BESTI FC defense, Magno Aparecido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo de Barros. The US DI BESTI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo de Barros should have stopped the shot. After 16 minutes, Magno Aparecido made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. US DI BESTI FC's Rômulo de Barros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to US DI BESTI FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fabrício Sabóia hit a great ball. Magno Aparecido took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rômulo de Barros. Rômulo de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Rômulo de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Aparecido in the 27th minute. Rômulo de Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Aparecido's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Magno Aparecido made a precise shot to the right of Rômulo de Barros. US DI BESTI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Magno Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rômulo de Barros having to make a save. Rômulo de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Aparecido in the 38th minute. Magno Aparecido might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rômulo de Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magno Aparecido ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo Mannuel made a kick off. Abelardo Mannuel charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Mannuel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Abelardo Mannuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57thth minute of the game Magno Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but US DI BESTI FC's Rômulo de Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vitomir Vutov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Ceulemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's Magno Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rômulo de Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, US DI BESTI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Aparecido came free, but Rômulo de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Philotimo's Patricio Igartua was substituted for Xeromo Garibay. A collision led to US DI BESTI FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fabrício Sabóia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umea Caubilla in the 83rd minute of play forced US DI BESTI FC's goalkeeper Rômulo de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rômulo de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Donzel in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Umea Caubilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Rômulo de Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rômulo de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umea Caubilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. FC Philotimo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
