After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Gustavo Eladio managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. BELGRANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Eladio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Zoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Valer Uduleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Festa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C. A. BELGRANO were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Cormoranii -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Eladio took the corner. The corner led C. A. BELGRANO's Gustavo Eladio to fire away a dangerous shot which Dino Zoff despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24th minute, Gustavo Eladio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcel Vulpe made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eugen Boldur immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Eladio in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Zoff saved Cormoranii -MM- from getting behind. Bobby Fischer hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goalkeeper Alfonso Festa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valer Uduleanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Eladio in the 46th minute of play forced Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu in the 50th minute of play forced C. A. BELGRANO's goalkeeper Alfonso Festa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, Cormoranii -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Vulpe to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Uduleanu came free, but Alfonso Festa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Festa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Uduleanu in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfonso Festa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Ologu in the 92nd minute of play. C. A. BELGRANO's Alfonso Festa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Uduleanu in the 94th minute of play. The C. A. BELGRANO players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cormoranii -MM- from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
