In the 11th minute Jacinto Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daan Wegman in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Alberto Abascal came free, but César Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Amboy FC's Atilano Mantzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. César Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 74thth minute of the game Juan Ayuso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes in the game Harmen Hilkes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wilco Keldermans. After 82 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Daan Wegman. César Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César Sousa. Decathlon Dudes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Amboy FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Decathlon Dudes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
