Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ciarán McCollion made the kick off which started today's match. After 8 played minutes Knocktemple FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciarán McCollion. 11 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Corey Gollogley came free, but Avram Golescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scorpions -MM-'s Avram Golescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Críostóir McWilliam in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes Scorpions -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dewain Tracy who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Knocktemple FC's Dewain Tracy to fire away a dangerous shot which Avram Golescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Ciarán McCollion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Avram Golescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 19 minutes, Dan Tinu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scorpions -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Tinu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Dobos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Brazil McPaul scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avram Golescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Knocktemple FC's Ciarán McCollion got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Scorpions -MM- defense, Corey Gollogley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avram Golescu. The Scorpions -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avram Golescu should have stopped the shot. After the first half Knocktemple FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costel Ţintă made a kick off. Costel Ţintă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Knocktemple FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dewain Tracy hit a great ball. Boyle McJohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Ţintă, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Costel Ţintă scored 2-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boyle McJohn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Scorpions -MM-'s Avram Golescu got control of the ball when Brazil McPaul tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Ciarán McCollion took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Avram Golescu to make any attempt to save it. 72 minutes into the game, Luca Păun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scorpions -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knocktemple FC the free kick. The supporters of Knocktemple FC booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Păun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorinel Munteanu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Corey Gollogley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Avram Golescu. That made the score 3-5 in the 76 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Costel Ţintă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scorpions -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Costel Ţintă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyle McJohn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute of the match Cornel Giuverdea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boyle McJohn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Avram Golescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brazil McPaul. Avram Golescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciarán McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costel Ţintă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boyle McJohn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s Radomir Zieba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boyle McJohn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Knocktemple FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
