In the 4th minute Mané Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson Haedo took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vefa Doğay. Vefa Doğay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Outlaws FC's Vefa Doğay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Haedo in the 15th minute of play. If Nelson Haedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Club Olimpia's Vefa Doğay threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nelson Haedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Outlaws FC's goalie prevented a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Naum Knežević came free, but Alfredo Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Batista in the 31st minute of the match. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naum Knežević in the 40th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Batista to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Ferdinand Zdraşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vefa Doğay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute Naum Knežević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naum Knežević recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naum Knežević in the 77th minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Piotr Bielejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Outlaws FC made a substitution. Călin Roman replaced Naum Knežević. After 82 minutes of play, Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vefa Doğay was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th match minute, Club Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Haedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Club Olimpia were awarded a corner. Luís Fernando Duarte went to the cornerflag to take it. Club Olimpia's Luís Fernando Duarte was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vefa Doğay in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Club Olimpia's Matthias Kiempe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fenrir Ragnarsson in the 91 minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Outlaws FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Olimpia.
