Allan Hedvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curcio Carballeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Allan Hedvall came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Getafe Deportivo's Curcio Carballeira. But to his dismay, Curcio Carballeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Curcio Carballeira came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Club Getafe Deportivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curcio Carballeira couldn't finish the play. Allan Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Carballeira in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Curcio Carballeira in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Hedvall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Club Getafe Deportivo were awarded a corner. Orlo Sarrate went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 29th minute of play forced FC White Blues's goalkeeper Allan Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Castellano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Dahlberg in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Adrian Dahlberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jairo Castellano, passed just outside the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Jairo Castellano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute, Curcio Carballeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Allan Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Carballeira in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Hellbom in the 45th minute of play forced Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Jairo Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Curcio Carballeira was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Dick Hellbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Allan Hedvall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Curcio Carballeira went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Club Getafe Deportivo booed when FC White Blues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Lägdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Curcio Carballeira came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Club Getafe Deportivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curcio Carballeira couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Curcio Carballeira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Allan Hedvall, 0-3. Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Hellbom in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Mattias Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC White Blues's Allan Hedvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FC White Blues from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC White Blues's Allan Hedvall got control of the ball when Curcio Carballeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Getafe Deportivo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
