Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michelangelo Merganiotis kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Nikos Sterpis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Ajax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Virgil Olariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgil Olariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Miltos Margaritidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Virgil Olariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Sterpis came free, but Virgil Olariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgil Olariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Sterpis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgil Olariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgil Olariu came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Ajax's Michelangelo Merganiotis. But to his dismay, Michelangelo Merganiotis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Nikos Sterpis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Olariu having to interfere. AFC Ajax's Akis Sarafis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Ajax from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Paralia Athens defense, Nikos Sterpis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgil Olariu. The Paralia Athens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgil Olariu should have stopped the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Michelangelo Merganiotis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgil Olariu came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Ajax's Miltos Margaritidis. But to his dismay, Miltos Margaritidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 40th minute, Nikos Sterpis made a precise shot to the right of Virgil Olariu. Paralia Athens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 43 minutes into the match, Nikos Sterpis notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu. Virgil Olariu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half AFC Ajax were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mike Cai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Virgil Olariu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Sterpis in the 54th minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Virgil Olariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgil Olariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 55th minute of the match. When AFC Ajax's Nikos Sterpis in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paralia Athens's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Văidianu to maneuver through the defense. AFC Ajax made a substitution. Omiros Fasoulas replaced German Sarracino. AFC Ajax's Aureo Morera was substituted for Fondas Papagiannoulis. In the 57th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Văidianu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Sterpis got free with Virgil Olariu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AFC Ajax's Akis Sarafis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 柯洲远 in the 62nd minute of play. When Mircea Robu fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paralia Athens's protests and gave Mircea Robu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AFC Ajax booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Robu didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC Ajax's Markos Seremetidis was substituted for Nikos Sterpis. When 柯洲远 came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Paralia Athens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 柯洲远 couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Markos Seremetidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Michelangelo Merganiotis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Paralia Athens's goalie and right to Miltos Margaritidis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Paralia Athens's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Markos Seremetidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Virgil Olariu made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Mircea Robu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Akis Sarafis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. When the final whistle sounded AFC Ajax left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paralia Athens.
