In the 10th minute, Jiang Yuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hannes Sandwall was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Leicester Foxes Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Jiang Yuan scored to the left of an out of position Hannes Sandwall, making the score, 2-0. Alan Young hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Jiang Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Leicester Foxes Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Yuan came free, but Hannes Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiang Yuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hannes Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyprian Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Drake in the 25th minute of play. Cyprian Tipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Cyprian Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Ericsson in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Alan Young had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyprian Tipinski. Inmortales FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Young was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Cyprian Tipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyprian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Gol in the 43rd minute of the match. Jiang Yuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hannes Sandwall having to make a save. Hannes Sandwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Drake stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hannes Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Yuan in the 58th minute of play. When Jiang Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Inmortales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jiang Yuan couldn't finish the play. Jiang Yuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leicester Foxes Academy's Harvey Bowler was substituted for Theo Crossley. 66 minutes into the match, Jiang Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hannes Sandwall. Leicester Foxes Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jiang Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when Leicester Foxes Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wes Kitchen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hannes Sandwall came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Inmortales FC's Jeffrey Cortez. But to his dismay, Jeffrey Cortez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Inmortales FC made a substitution. Orville Jacobson replaced Darnell Joyce. With an all-out effort, Leicester Foxes Academy's Cyprian Tipinski threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Ericsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jeffrey Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hannes Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Cortez in the 86th minute of play. Many of Leicester Foxes Academy's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Leicester Foxes Academy may have spent more time on the ball, but Inmortales FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
