The supporters of Mochila FC booed when Esquadrão Lusitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo De Angelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Anfilogino Genovese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Damas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Esquadrão Lusitano's Przemyslaw Indyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Frederico Madureira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The attack was good, but when Rafael Bouzas in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 17 minutes, Cândido Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esquadrão Lusitano and the Mochila FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Cândido Mendonça got a free kick in the 17th minute. Vítor Damas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bart Claveau went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Rafael Bouzas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira. Frederico Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafael Bouzas came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frederico Madureira could save by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 狄夕远 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frederico Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 狄夕远 in the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that 狄夕远's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederico Madureira was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Rafael Bouzas struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Frederico Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquadrão Lusitano. Filippo De Angelis hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Vítor Damas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bart Claveau in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Vítor Damas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Esquadrão Lusitano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sydney Terra was slow to take the kick. During this time Mochila FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Mochila FC booed when Esquadrão Lusitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederico Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Bouzas's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Sílvio Laureano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Bouzas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 狄夕远 in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Esquadrão Lusitano supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mochila FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mochila FC.
