Gert Altorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Torben Steenhede. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Jönsson in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gert Altorn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Rickard Johnsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hønning's Gert Altorn. Gert Altorn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gert Altorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Glad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert Altorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Jönsson in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Jönsson came free, but Gert Altorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hønning's Gert Altorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Jönsson in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Per Nørbjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Altorn came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Blågula Fantomer FF's Fredrik Olofsson. But to his dismay, Fredrik Olofsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John-Arne Riise was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Blågula Fantomer FF booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fillip Knutstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hønning's Gert Altorn got control of the ball when Lech Warka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blågula Fantomer FF's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Nørbjerg in the 60th minute of play. Hønning's Gert Altorn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Hønning from getting a goal against them. When Torben Steenhede fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hønning's protests and gave Torben Steenhede a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Torben Steenhede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Jönsson struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gert Altorn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blågula Fantomer FF. With a little luck, Hønning's Gert Altorn got control of the ball when Lech Warka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lech Warka came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gert Altorn could save by the left post. Gabriel Jönsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Gert Altorn made a huge save. Gert Altorn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Jönsson in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Blågula Fantomer FF's goal looked a bit too open when John-Arne Riise came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Kandil hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Rickard Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Altorn having to interfere. Gabriel Jönsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Gert Altorn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lech Warka got free with Gert Altorn in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lech Warka's late challenge caught a Hønning's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lech Warka helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Per Nørbjerg hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Blågula Fantomer FF's goal looked a bit too open when John-Arne Riise came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Blågula Fantomer FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hønning.
