Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Petru Nisporeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nevada Etxeberria in the 22nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Nevada Etxeberria sped through Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petru Nisporeanu. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Nevada Etxeberria got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Ramón Huguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Nisporeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mauricio Guadalupe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petru Nisporeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Toxeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute ALPUJARRAS LIBRE were awarded a corner. Xofre Mayor went to the cornerflag to take it. Petru Nisporeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nevada Etxeberria in the 43rd minute of the match. Saturnino Nieto made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Liu Yan Yan sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Örjan Forssell made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's goal looked a bit too open when Cortez Morera came free, but Saturnino Nieto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Lauren Verges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petru Nisporeanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 55 minutes Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xofre Mayor who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oriche Ruelas in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Nieto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes in the game, Oriche Ruelas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 92nd minute Gaston Cayuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Nisporeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petru Nisporeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tello Lopez in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
