Charlie Bjurström might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasper Dalman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charlie Bjurström ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the game, Vince Easton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Carl Carlsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Bjurström in the 10th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Kasper Dalman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Vince Easton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to DFP getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Timmy Vestberg hit a great ball. Vince Easton took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Carlsson. Carl Carlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Vince Easton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carl Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Easton in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute LA DEL MONO were awarded a corner. Rigoberto Cordareo went to the cornerflag to take it. DFP's Carl Carlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save DFP from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Vestberg came free, but Kasper Dalman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vince Easton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl Carlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Higinio Botello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carl Carlsson, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vince Easton made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of DFP booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA DEL MONO's Kasper Dalman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save LA DEL MONO from getting a goal against them. Charlie Bjurström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Kasper Dalman made a huge save. Kasper Dalman made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Charlie Bjurström sent off a good shot on target. Alex Nordin made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LA DEL MONO's Eustacio Bela. Carl Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Easton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Easton in the 74th minute of play forced DFP's goalkeeper Carl Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Bjurström got free with Kasper Dalman in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LA DEL MONO made a substitution. Betinho Falcão replaced Vince Easton. After a defensive mix-up in LA DEL MONO's zone, Charlie Bjurström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasper Dalman came out of the goal and Charlie Bjurström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Falcão in the 96th minute of play forced DFP's goalkeeper Carl Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DFP's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
