Brazil Academy's Marcelo Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Jamieson in the 13th minute of play. When Gildo Braga fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brazil Academy's protests and gave Gildo Braga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute Terry Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milferio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
