Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) 4 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Strazzabosco came free, but Gilberto Boone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Goudreau in the 5th minute of play. Wendell Petit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damiano Strazzabosco took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Boone. Gilberto Boone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Strazzabosco in the 15th minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Mims were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Varennes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabrizio Di Martino took the corner. FC Mims's Fabrizio Di Martino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilberto Boone in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Seth Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC Mims defense, Seth Luke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attilio Fiordelisi. The FC Mims fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attilio Fiordelisi should have stopped the shot. Attilio Fiordelisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Luke in the 31st minute of play. Maurice Odonnell struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Attilio Fiordelisi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varennes. 44 minutes into the match, Maurice Odonnell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Attilio Fiordelisi. FC Mims's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurice Odonnell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half Varennes were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Maurice Odonnell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Attilio Fiordelisi came out and tried to block the shot, but Maurice Odonnell slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. Gilberto Boone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Strazzabosco in the 56th minute of the match. Anfilogino Pantano kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. FC Mims made a substitution. Flavio Di Matteo replaced Elia Panella. After 64 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Pantano. FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Mims from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Mims's Damiano Strazzabosco fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Maurice Odonnell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Attilio Fiordelisi. The goal made the score 1-5. Attilio Fiordelisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titus Pineda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Titus Pineda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Fiordelisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fausto Scarpone fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Mims's protests and gave Fausto Scarpone a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Varennes booed when FC Mims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Scarpone didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Mims's Anfilogino Pantano got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurice Odonnell got free with Attilio Fiordelisi in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Varennes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Mims.
