In the 3rd minute Antoni Zdrojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Frances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ricardo Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRIMINAL MAMBO's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Abadia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantin Pančur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Konstantin Pančur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Passos in the 13th minute of play. Carmelo Marz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstantin Pančur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Ricardo Abadia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CRIMINAL MAMBO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ruperto Frances had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Duško Turnšek from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CRIMINAL MAMBO! Duško Turnšek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ruperto Frances made a huge save. After a rather tough play, CRIMINAL MAMBO's Virgilio Hunfredo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Duško Turnšek placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 42 minutes into the match, CRIMINAL MAMBO's goalkeeper Ruperto Frances had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duško Turnšek. Constantino Eguntsenti kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Antoni Zdrojewski hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Abadia made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duško Turnšek in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Frances prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Konstantin Pančur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by CJ Desailly to maneuver through the defense. HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić was substituted for Duško Turnšek. In the 56th minute, CJ Desailly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save HIT Gorica from getting a goal against them. HIT Gorica's Antoni Zdrojewski got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Antoni Zdrojewski off the ground. Antoni Zdrojewski hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Venancio Abalos hit a great ball. CJ Desailly charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed CJ Desailly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zeca Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulinho Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Konstantin Pančur made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Istok Šabotić in the 89th minute of play forced CRIMINAL MAMBO's goalkeeper Ruperto Frances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeca Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Pančur having to interfere. Konstantin Pančur made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Ricardo Abadia sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the CRIMINAL MAMBO players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
