Tytus Ziemniak hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Deportivo Medievales's Augustinas Gavorskis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cosme Piorno. Cosme Piorno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Augustinas Gavorskis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Piorno was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustinas Gavorskis couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Medievales's Damián Åkerman was substituted for Augustinas Gavorskis. In the 92nd minute, Nino Manfredi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
