In the 26th minute of the game Dante Mannie made a throw-in which Mariano Peyo played forward. The audience was convinced that Federico Colas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Lastur was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 53rd minute, Federico Colas made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Gallardo y Biscay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Colas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Federico Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallardo y Biscay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Colas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Colas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gallardo y Biscay FC's Victorino Perfecto got a free kick in the 64th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Gallardo y Biscay FC's Federico Colas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victorino Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Borja came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Miguel Borja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallardo y Biscay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Borja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Borja in the 87th minute of play. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gallardo y Biscay FC fully deserved thier win.
