Toninho Cosme started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thodoris Tassoulis in the 2nd minute of play forced BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Olivier Dubs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivier Dubs came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheriff's Clayton Gol. But to his dismay, Clayton Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Clayton Gol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olivier Dubs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Clayton Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEST FABIO F.C.'s Olivier Dubs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino de Brito got free with Yahia van der Saar in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Clayton Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sheriff were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after BEST FABIO F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damaso Xacintu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Natalio Dominguez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olivier Dubs quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the match, BEST FABIO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Gol came free, but Olivier Dubs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clayton Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olivier Dubs having to make a save. Olivier Dubs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Gol in the 21st minute of the match. Olivier Dubs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clayton Gol in the 23rd minute of play. Olivier Dubs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clayton Gol in the 24th minute of play. Clayton Gol scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olivier Dubs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Clayton Gol made a precise shot to the right of Olivier Dubs. BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Olivier Dubs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Xacintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, one of BEST FABIO F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BEST FABIO F.C.. The referee gave Sheriff a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Damaso Xacintu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BEST FABIO F.C.'s Olivier Dubs. 0-4. When Sheriff's Clayton Gol in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the BEST FABIO F.C. defense, Clayton Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivier Dubs. The BEST FABIO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivier Dubs should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clayton Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Clayton Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the BEST FABIO F.C. defense, Clayton Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivier Dubs. The BEST FABIO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivier Dubs should have stopped the shot. Clayton Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olivier Dubs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Sheriff made a substitution. Savas Zaradoukas replaced Dragoş Bălace. Sheriff's Dagan Pavlovic was substituted for Thodoris Tassoulis. After taking down the ball on Sheriff's corner Sancho Denner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olivier Dubs quite easily take care of the ball. Clayton Gol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Olivier Dubs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Olivier Dubs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Gol in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the BEST FABIO F.C. defense, Clayton Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivier Dubs. The BEST FABIO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivier Dubs should have stopped the shot. BEST FABIO F.C. made a substitution. Fabian Oborski replaced Toninho Cosme. The corner ended in Damaso Xacintu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BEST FABIO F.C.'s Olivier Dubs did a great save. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Oborski in the 80th minute of play. In the 88th minute Sheriff were awarded a corner. Damaso Xacintu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Sheriff's corner Damaso Xacintu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olivier Dubs quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to BEST FABIO F.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Caio Souza hit a great ball. Olivier Dubs made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Clayton Gol sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute Sheriff were awarded a corner. Damaso Xacintu went to the cornerflag to take it. Natalio Dominguez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 96 minutes, Clayton Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheriff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clayton Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sheriff had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
