Gaskon Gimeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Lucas Sanson made a huge save. Gaskon Gimeno scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Sanson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Sílvio Luís Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Chucho in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaskon Gimeno got free with Lucas Sanson in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Echesortu Football Club's Lucas Sanson got control of the ball when Gaskon Gimeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Chucho in the 29th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Bermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Sanson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaskon Gimeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Libertad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Naldo Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Bermudo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Zaplana in the 58th minute of play forced Echesortu Football Club's goalkeeper Lucas Sanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Bermudo in the 59th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Echesortu Football Club's zone, Henric Villaquiran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Sanson came out of the goal and Henric Villaquiran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Timoteo Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Echesortu Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Erramu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Roig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaskon Gimeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute Gaskon Gimeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Chucho. 76 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Bermudo came free, but Naldo Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Zaplana kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaskon Gimeno in the 85th minute of play forced Echesortu Football Club's goalkeeper Lucas Sanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Roig made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Guaberto Chucho sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Sanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaskon Gimeno in the 97th minute of the match. Echesortu Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
