In the 4thth minute of the game Janne Töpperwien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Zhelezna's Milyo Gelovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th minute, Bozhko Dzhordzhev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Janne Töpperwien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milyo Gelovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karhulan Veikot's István Vida quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rayko Karandzhulov, made in the 9th minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Janne Töpperwien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milyo Gelovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Milyo Gelovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Janne Töpperwien went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Stamatis Kritikos with Janne Töpperwien as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Benjamin Somervuori got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Janne Töpperwien. Karhulan Veikot's Cássio Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Karhulan Veikot from getting a goal against them. Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Janne Töpperwien to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Janne Töpperwien tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Milyo Gelovski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gilberto Garaile struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Cássio Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zhelezna. FC Zhelezna's Rafail Dorovski was substituted for Radko Tetikov. An unexpectedly hard shot by István Vida in the 64th minute of play forced FC Zhelezna's goalkeeper Milyo Gelovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Janne Töpperwien struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Milyo Gelovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karhulan Veikot. Gilberto Garaile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janne Töpperwien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Milyo Gelovski made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Gilberto Garaile managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zhelezna's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Garaile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karhulan Veikot's István Vida quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rayko Karandzhulov, made in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Janne Töpperwien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milyo Gelovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Garaile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes in the game Rayko Karandzhulov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sven-Erik Wallander. When the match was over Karhulan Veikot could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Zhelezna throughout the match.
