Dimitris Skondras started the match with the kick off. Paco Dean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Hai Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 10th match minute, MKS Legion Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Kostrzewski to maneuver through the defense. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Valter Festas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christos Perivolakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. MICE F.C.'s Christos Perivolakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Banan in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Valter Festas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Perivolakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Menios Tsirkos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to MICE F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dimitris Skondras hit a great ball. Menios Tsirkos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Paco Dean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MICE F.C.'s Christos Perivolakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Festas in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Gustaw Trojanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dimitris Skondras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Paco Dean made a huge save. Paco Dean made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Zinédine Papoutsiadis sent off a good shot on target. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Napoleon Chlebek was substituted for Iwan Falk. The supporters of MICE F.C. booed when MKS Legion Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paco Dean came out of the goal and Iraklis Mortensøn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Paco Dean got control of the ball when Zinédine Papoutsiadis tried to sneak it across the goal line.
