After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Tom Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell-Arne Hultman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Kjell-Arne Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell-Arne Hultman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Füllkrug, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rudolf Josefsson hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Károly Bogdán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Kjell-Arne Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Hermansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell-Arne Hultman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Hermansson ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Kjell-Arne Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes, Tom Hermansson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. MAFFIAN's Kjell-Arne Hultman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Niclas Füllkrug blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell-Arne Hultman having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Niclas Füllkrug ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjell-Arne Hultman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Jörn Gustafsson fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave Jörn Gustafsson a yellow card for diving instead. Kjell-Arne Hultman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Füllkrug, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Claude Van Damme made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Hermansson in the 52nd minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Hultman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd play minute Tom Hermansson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kjell-Arne Hultman. 0-3. 57 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Kjell-Arne Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Hermansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell-Arne Hultman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Hermansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Niclas Füllkrug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Tom Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell-Arne Hultman was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match Tom Hermansson climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-4 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Kjell-Arne Hultman. Károly Bogdán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Hermanssons short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Kjell-Arne Hultman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. AZURDUY F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
