Joel Tolsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 3rd minute of play. Joel Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Blumenau Esporte Clube got a corner. BK Värdsholmen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nildo Dantas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Edvaldo de Toledo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joel Tolsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sven Häger made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tage Brodin however managed to control. 17 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Brodin came free, but Luiz Fábio Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Bin Shevchenko came free, but Joel Tolsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Roger Norberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Tolsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bin Shevchenko's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Joel Tolsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Nildo Dantas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joel Tolsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joel Tolsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bin Shevchenko went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Bin Shevchenko made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Sven Häger threw the ball into play from the sideline. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Giovani Tinoco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sven Häger charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Häger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven Häger hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Joel Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 58th minute of play forced BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Joel Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Tinoco. In the 64th minute Roger Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bin Shevchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Värdsholmen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nildo Dantas was slow to take the kick. During this time Blumenau Esporte Clube's players had a chance to rest. Nildo Dantas made a great header on Blumenau Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 77th minute, Bin Shevchenko made a precise shot to the right of Joel Tolsson. BK Värdsholmen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 83 minutes into the match, Bin Shevchenko notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson. Joel Tolsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bin Shevchenko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Tolsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Joel Tolsson came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko. But to his dismay, Bin Shevchenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Blumenau Esporte Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BK Värdsholmen for a fine match.
