Zé Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pepijn Hummel's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Pepijn Hummel sped through Saiko FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Sabóia. Komen Schotte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pepijn Hummel came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FFC Merainies 03's Pepijn Hummel got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 姚旭杰 in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Pepijn Hummel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Walmir Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Jairo Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saiko FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jörgen Kjellqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time FFC Merainies 03's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Botello in the 29th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Leon Craandijk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFC Merainies 03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Garcia in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Craandijk came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepijn Hummel in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Leon Craandijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Craandijk's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepijn Hummel in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pepijn Hummel was the one to do the kick off. Zé Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Craandijk in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pepijn Hummel came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pepijn Hummel got free with Zé Sabóia in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Fonseca came free, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepijn Hummel in the 69th minute of play. Pepijn Hummel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Zé Sabóia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Marceau in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute Fábio Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepijn Hummel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Sabóia having to interfere. FFC Merainies 03 made a substitution. Gertjan Engbers replaced Jörgen Kjellqvist. Pepijn Hummel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Zé Sabóia made a huge save. Gertjan Engbers kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Zé Sabóia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute, FFC Merainies 03's Leon Craandijk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After 95 minutes of play, FFC Merainies 03's Fabio Botello made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! FFC Merainies 03 played a much better game than Saiko FC and deserved their victory. The Saiko FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
