The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Baki Lebib got free with Tim Johnstone in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomasz Skikiewicz had several of the The Tigers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Tim Johnstone as he didn't even see the shot coming. Artur Sarnat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benji Murray in the 87th minute of play.
