Atay Türegün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Downes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 顾义远 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Tim Johnstone when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tyrone Meehan made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Frankie Brookes however managed to control. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The Tigers's Tim Johnstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 顾义远 in the 51st minute of play. Marco Servando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Johnstone having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, 顾义远 put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tim Johnstone. The Tigers made a substitution. Phil Clarke replaced Frankie Brookes. Tim Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Servando in the 70th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Owen Noble who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MegaFenerbahce's Atay Türegün was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaac Bond made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MegaFenerbahce's Bahattin İbiş. After a defensive mix-up in The Tigers's zone, Marco Servando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Johnstone came out of the goal and Marco Servando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Phil Clarke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MegaFenerbahce were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Tigers for a fine match.
