Tobias Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Freire in the 12th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Kazimierz Oliszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Social y Dep. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Pangsepp couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Pangsepp in the 29th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Pangsepp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Elias Novais made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Social y Dep. Patagonia's Kazimierz Oliszewski. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Social y Dep. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Leo Pangsepp notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AM United's David Bastos. David Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the match, Social y Dep. Patagonia's goalkeeper Tobias Faro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikos Christou. After the first half Social y Dep. Patagonia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Freire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute of the match AM United got a corner. Social y Dep. Patagonia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adelino Palma ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 66th minute Leo Pangsepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Pessoa in the 67th minute of play forced Social y Dep. Patagonia's goalkeeper Tobias Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Freire couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Guillermo Rico got a free kick in the 91st minute. Teodoro Freire hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Social y Dep. Patagonia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
